Common questions.

What to expect before your first upload.

Which trading card games are supported?

TCGUploader currently supports Pokémon TCG and Magic: The Gathering. Recognition depends on the cards and printings available in the catalog. Other trading card games are not supported yet.

Can I scan several cards in one image?

Yes. Upload a photo or flatbed scan containing several cards. Keep cards separated, fully visible, and evenly lit. The scanner detects individual cards so you can review each match.

How accurate is card recognition?

Results depend on image quality and catalog coverage. The review screen shows candidate printings and confidence evidence. Check the set, collector number, language, and finish before accepting a match; condition is entered by you.

Can I list my cards on eBay or Shopify?

You can prepare an eBay CSV export and upload it through the marketplace’s own import workflow. TCGplayer and Cardmarket exports are also available. Direct publishing, sales synchronisation, and a dedicated Shopify export are not available yet.

What is included in the free tier?

At launch, the planned free allowance is 200 scans and 20 batches per month, 1,000 inventory items, 5 exports, and 2 GiB of storage with 30-day original retention. Public registration is not open yet.

Can I download my collection data?

Yes. Export your collection as a native CSV, or choose a supported marketplace or collection-app format. Native CSV preserves the inventory data for a round-trip import. Export limits depend on your plan.
